National Park Road entrance | Boardwalk Trail | Cypress Swamp

How we got there: Drove from Charleston, SC, 2 hours
Favorite:
- Boardwalk trail: 2.4 mile loop on elevated boardwalk, great for viewing wetland plant and animal life.
Tips: Bring mosquito repellent. Don’t trust GPS to get you to the correct entrance. We ended up at a backcountry canoe and fishing access point on the first try.
Next time: Cedar Creek canoe trail, Oak Ridge hiking trail.
