Part of the inspiration for this trip was the Quirpon (pronounced kar-poon) Island Lighthouse Inn. It’s located on an otherwise uninhabited island off the extreme tip of Newfoundland. We got boated across a channel, but then chose to hike the 5k trail to the inn.
